About The Grant Whisperer services.Your Go-To Strategic Sidekick!

Here is what I can do for your organisation.

An expert second pair of eyes—someone who refines, sharpens, and strengthens charity bids and reports (plus, a range of other stuff!). I've worked closely with Directors of small charities as their Go-To Strategic Sidekick for over 15 years.

I can:

  • Help create draft funding bids
  • Review your bid before sending, suggest/make edits to give it it’s best chance on the table for consideration from funders
  • Transform your draft monitoring reports into high impact reports that give funders what they need
  • Help set up your monitoring and evaluation for projects
  • Work with you to set up or change your online systems and digital processes
  • Communicate your message/raise your profile uber clearly across your social media channels
  • Polish and refine all of your excellent work into "must fund these guys" words that get you that grant
  • Communicate your report through your digital channels (instead of it just being a lot of work to be filed away with a funder), to demonstrate your impact.
  • Support and mentor your new fundraising officers (to take a little of that pressure off of you as the director or manager).

Or a Combination of support - a bit of the above, all of the above, something else.

You’ve come to the right place.

No more time-wasting meetings.

We can get going quickly, and even though remote, I'm very present with all my clients (like being in the room, but without the wait!).

Stop struggling with the words.

When you are so close to the heart of the work (as we get when we have a passion for helping people in our charities), it can make clarity harder sometimes.

A fresh pair of expert eyes to summarise and inject oomph is like that feeling when you step off a plane into a blast of warm air. Ahhh, that's better.

Turn your impact story up a level

It is all well and good to tell your amazing story, but is it going out across all your channels, or it is disappearing once you submit it to your funder?.

Let's get it polished/get some fantastic soundbites, and shout about them.

Stand out.

Let's make sure your bids and reports stand out from all the others on that table when funders make those key decisions on WHO to fund.

Pricing - Fixed or Flex?

As a starting point - With first time clients I always offer the first hour free, and provide feedback, so you can see what I do in action. I know how tight time is for charity managers. I love a deadline, so we can work together in the ways you most need at the time.

I offer flexible support tailored to your charity’s needs, with typical projects including bid reviews and final edits, monitoring report polishing, funder feedback reworks, and impact summary checks to help your results stand out. For broader insights, a one-off charity health check reviews recent applications and reports with tailored recommendations. I can also provide mentoring to your fundraising staff. Prices typically range from £100–£400, depending on the project's scope.

Here are some options to suit all kinds of budgets - from project hours, a flexible bank of hours, to a fixed monthly fee (cancel/pause at anytime).

All options are flexible and nimble (just like your organisation), yet strategic and impactful (ditto!).

Did I miss something?

How does this work?

There are 3 ways to work with me: 1. Get in touch to have an informal chat, using the contact form or email hello@thegrantwhisperer.co.uk.Then take up the 1 hour for free offer to see what is possible, before you commit. 2. Get in touch with the contact form, and say yes to the initial about your project form, which will be sent to you, and let's get started. 3. Or, if you already know you need support asap, book your project in by buying one of the options above.

Can you do tasks not specified on the website?

Absolutely, just message me to ask. I have worked in the charity sector a long time, and as you will know, when you work in small charities you need a whole range of skills in your toolbox.

How do I make a request?

Complete the About Your Project form - Once you've booked in for a project that needs support, I will send you a super quick way to get started, and then work will be delivered and you'll be notified along the way. I try to use a little automation so to keep everyone updated (so you can still go about your day without having to schedule a call with me).

Do you offer any guarantees?

I want you to get the most out of my services. If you are not happy with the work, I offer a 30 day money back guarantee - so you're covered. Just contact me, and I will refund you.

Why is payment upfront?

By committing to the project upfront it means that you pay for what I have estimated it with take timewise, and you won't be hit with project creep and hidden fees. A kind of what you see is what you get model. But it is flexible, and I'm happy to work within your specific requirements.
